Savannah Daisley: Influencer’s court battle over child sex allegations

S

Sydney heiress and influencer Savannah Daisley is facing a court battle as she fights allegations she had sex with a 14-year-old boy four times in a single day.

Ms Daisley was earlier this year charged with four counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child.

Her lawyers have previously indicated she intends to plead not guilty to all four charges and strongly denies the allegations.

Police allege the entrepreneur engaged in unlawful sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old boy on four occasions in May 2021.

The court has previously been told that Ms Daisley, the daughter of internationally renowned horse breeder Ross Daisley, was allegedly highly intoxicated at the time.

The court has been told that police will rely on legal phone taps in which it’s claimed Ms Daisley admitted to some of the offences.

Police allege she told the 14-year-old to stay quiet about the alleged intercourse, which she claimed was a one-off, the court has previously been told.

The owner of detox company Smart Cleanse was granted bail with strict conditions to pay $100,000 and reside with her parents in the Southern Highlands.

Mr Daisley rose to prominence as the breeder of thoroughbred racehorse and champion sprinter Choisir.

It is not suggested that Mr Daisley has engaged in any wrongdoing.

Ms Daisley’s wellbeing company has more than 39,000 Instagram followers and the self-described naturopath has written two books on health.

She did not appear in person as her matter was mentioned in Manly Local Court on Wednesday.

Previously, a subpoena was issued to obtain information from a separate legal case.

The court was told on Wednesday that the subpoena matter had been resolved.

Magistrate Robyn Denes adjourned the matter to next month, with proceedings to be moved to the Downing Centre Local Court.

Ms Daisley will remain on bail in the Southern Highlands, where she has been ordered not to leave her home unless in the company of her parents or sister.

She must report to Moss Vale police three times a week.
